CLARK ANNOUNCES RETIREMENT

IAM District Lodge 14 Directing Business Representative Kevin Clark has announced his retirement, effective August 31, 2024.

Clark, a 36 year member, has been in the District Lodge 14 office for 16 years (September 1, 2008 – August 31, 2024) and is excited about his first year of retirement and future travels.

A retirement function for Kevin was held at the Riverbank Bistro in St. Albert on Saturday, August 24, 2024 with District Delegates, Business Representative’s, as well as Retirees.

After working these past years with Kevin, I have developed a deeper appreciation of the amount of work that goes into being a Business Representative. Knowledge, tenacity and the need to advance the Machinists Union in Alberta are only a few of the many traits that come to mind. Kevin will be missed at the District office in Edmonton, as I am sure will be the case at Canadian Office and at the International.
