It is with great sadness and regret that we inform Brother Jim Patterson passed away on Saturday, November 13, 2021 at the age of 56.

Brother Jim came from IAM Local Lodge 99 and was first elected as a District 14 Business Representative at the April 10, 2017 meeting with the first 4-year term commencing September 1, 2017 and he continued to be an integral part of the District Business Representative team since then.  His quick wit led to much laughter in the office and he was never lacking opinions on anything.  He always seemed to “know someone”.  You need an IT person.  “Hey, I know a guy.”  You need tires.  “Hey, I know a guy.”  He took great pride in his relationships with his wife, kids and other family and friends.  He will be missed by everyone who knew him, including his Union Brothers and Sisters.

Funeral Services to be held at the Glenwood Funeral Home located at 52356 Range Road 232, Sherwood Park, AB (780-467-3337) at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, November 25, 2021.  If you are unable to attend there is going to be a Livestream of the services.

The family has asked that in lieu of flowers, please feel free to make a donation to the Alzheimer’s Society of Canada, or the Edmonton Firefighters Memorial Society.

Note all attendees are required to observe the Alberta’s Restriction Exemption Program, proof of double vaccination.
