Cam Perkins, President camspioneer2015@gmail.com and Darlene Hein, Secretary Treasurer dardarbinks5@shaw.ca of the International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers, Foothills Lodge 2583 are pleased to welcome the Belterra Corporation, Calgary membership into the fold.  A first 2-year agreement has been ratified and the Local is excited to meet the new addition to their union family.

Red is the color this year for all Canadian Delegates of the 40th IAM Grand Lodge Convention.

After a long delay of 2-years due to the COVID-19 pandemic the 40th IAM Grand Lodge Convention is finally taking place this week in Las Vegas, Nevada from October 3-7, 2022.

(September 20, 1929 – January 27, 2022)

It is with deep sorrow that we inform you that Brother Norman Bezanson passed away January 27, 2022 at the age of 92.  He is lovingly remembered by his daughter Donna and son Robert (Armando), as well as his six grandchildren Sara, Kya, Celeste, Noah, Samuel and Hope.  He is predeceased by his wife Marie Ella June, sons Ellis and Karl, sisters Mary and Maude and brother Blair.  Memorial services will be held on Saturday, May 28, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. at Connelly-McKinley Funeral Home (10011 – 114 Street, Edmonton).  You can view the service from this link.
